Writing on Nature & Place :
Haibun Extract

The earth tilts, flooding a mercury network of creeks. I am being unfurled with the Zen deliberation of a birthing leaf. Perception turns inside out, merging with every stone, watercourse, plant, creature, mound of earth. A single exhalation radiates from everything. We are all part of a great consciousness imagining this, dreaming us: the bush and I, aspects of a story time narrates, revealing and concealing.
